Nursing assessments and vital-sign monitoring
Wound care and skin integrity management
Tracheostomy care, suctioning, and respiratory support
Tube-feeding management (G-tube, J-tube)
Medication administration as ordered
Catheter and ostomy care
Chronic condition monitoring (such as diabetes, cardiac conditions, respiratory conditions, and neurological disorders)
Education for families on safe caregiving techniques
Coordination with the client’s physicians and care team
